CBC All in a Day Book Club Discusses The Valkyrie

Kate Heartfield talks to Eric Martin, head writer for Loki Season 2, via Zoom while interviewer Alan Neal looks on, with swords hanging on the wall behind them.

The wonderful CBC Radio drive-time show here in Ottawa, All in a Day, runs a regular book club in which readers meet the author at a live event, and segments from that discussion air later on the radio. I was thrilled when Alan Neal called me to tell me The Valkyrie was the CBC All in a Day Book Club pick for February 2024. Alan is a very thoughtful interviewer and a great friend to books.

Here are the segments that have aired from that discussion, which took place at Ottawa Swordplay. In the March 6 segment, Alan surprised me with special guests: Eric Martin, head writer for Loki season 2, and musician Basia Bulat.
