Every year, Locus magazine asks for input from reviewers, columnists and others and compiles a recommended reading list. I’m pleased to say that The Embroidered Book is on the list in the best fantasy novel category. And what a list in general! Wonderful work came out in 2022. The list forms the basis for the reader poll that determines the finalists for the Locus Awards, and anyone can vote in that, so please do go and vote for the things that you loved. (You can write in works that don’t appear on the list, too.)
