Book cover for The Valkyrie by Kate Heartfield, in black with gold and purple detail, showing Norse imagery. By Andrew Davis.

My latest novel, The Valkryie, is out in the world! It’s available in ebook and audiobook everywhere — and let me just say something about the audiobook, because I’m listening to it now, and oh my goodness, when I got to Chapter 5, there were two moments in India Shaw-Smith’s narration — one made my eyes go wide with delight, and another made me pump my first. She and Eleanor Jackson have done an amazing job.

The print edition won’t be out in North America until September, but the UK has the hardback in stores now. I love to see photos of the book on shelves and in hands, so please do share if you see it in the wild!

The paperback of The Embroidered Book is also out in the UK now (and will be in North America in September) and I’m thrilled that it’s out finding new readers.

Thanks to everyone at Harper Voyager UK for all their work on these two books. And I especially want to thank my editors Jack Renninson and Jane Johnson, and cover designer Andrew Davis.
